PEACE OF GOD Pr. James Victor Lubwama Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." In the world today, there are certain things that people consider and base on as elements of peace. As such their peace is conditioned on having certain things in life like money, children, cars, houses etc. These things are all important but they are not the epitome of life and peace. Having a relationship with God is better than having material things. The peace that God gives supersedes all these material things and human understanding - its unconditional. You can be happy yet you don't have money or car; you can be content, happy and at peace with the little you have . The peace that matters, the peace that lasts and has stood the test of time, is the peace that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, whom the prophet Isaiah describes as the Prince of Peace ( Isaiah 9:6 ) God

ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES Pr. James Victor Lubwama Philippians 4:19 (AMP) "And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."  When God is to work for you, He will not base on your income; He won't consider your job or bank savings, but He will provide for you depending on His heavenly account because the earth and everything in it belong to the Lord - Psalm 24:1. He has infinite ways to provide for your needs - His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are higher than ours ( Isaiah 55:8 ). God is not limited by situations. Each morning He opens His hands for us to claim and pick out our daily needs, so its up to us to know what we need. For God provides for us daily not weekly or monthly, and that is why the bible says: He gives us our daily bread ( Mathew 6:11 ) or as the footnote in the Amplified version expounds as; daily bread =  life's essentials. FAITH vs. FEAR Pr. James Victor Lubwama Faith and fear are two giants that cannot sit in the same place. When one comes in, the other disappears. According to Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) Faith is; "The assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physi cal senses]” The acronym FEAR is unmasked as False Evidence Appearing Real. The image the devil is painting for you is not real; sometimes it's just perceived and not necessarily close to us. Satan uses fear to govern people’s lives while God uses faith. The foundation of faith is the word of God, while the foundation of fear are lies of the world. You can't have faith without the Word . Romans 10:17 (NKJV) affirms; “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Most people impulsively lift their faith but faith is non-existent without
