STAND STILL Pr. James Victor Lubwama 2 Chronicles 20:17  "You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord" Standing still means that you stand on the rock - word of God. If you want God to fight for you, you need to standstill; if you want to see the Salvation of the Lord, you should stand on the rock – Rhema or Logos word. The word of God goes before His work. When storms strike your life always remember to standstill on the word of God, because if you are not standing on the rock, you will be consumed by the storm If you want to see God's hand at work in your life; if you want to see the Salvation of the Lord; if you want God to fight your battles, get hold of His Word, believe it and confess it daily. Before God heals, He sends his word first. The word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord is the rock that you need to stand on. Psalm 107:20 (NLT) says; "He sent out his word and hea...

PRAY IN THE SPIRIT Pr. James Victor Lubwama Prayer is an appeal of the things you need from the Lord; its dialogue between man and God; it's a way to realise the will of God ( Psalm 25:4 ), and learning how to pray ( Mathew 6:9-15 ) strengthens your relationship with God. Authentic prayer is communication between your heart and God Praying in the spirit and not in one's understanding (carnal state) does not mean that you will not understand what you are saying, but implies that you will pray in unity with the Holy spirit - for your mind and heart will completely be focused on God. Be aware that  God is a  S pirit. John 4:24 (AMP) says;  "God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality)" Human beings are both flesh and spirit. We exist in two worlds - physical and spiritual ; thus to communicate with   God (God is a Spirit), we must use our spirits. A Carnal Christian can neither commun...

THERE IS ANOTHER WAY Pr. James Victor Lubwama Esther 4:13-14 (NLT) ‘Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. 14 If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” When you feel that all your wit and efforts have yielded nothing, and you are consumed by fear and disappointment, remember that God has another way for your redemption - for his ways are higher than ours ( Isaiah 55:8-9 ). He who created a way in the red sea that no one knew about is still at work in our lives. ( Isaiah 43:16 ,  Exodus 14:21 ) Your Creator who made the way in the water for the Israelites to escape from captivity and oppression will create a way for you. If Esther cannot go on your behalf, deliverance will come from som...

THE ANOINTING TO OUTRUN THEM Pr. James Victor Lubwama 1 Kings 18:45-46 (AMP)  "In a little while the sky grew dark with clouds and wind, and there were heavy showers. And Ahab mounted and rode [his chariot] and went [inland] to Jezreel. 46 Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah [giving him supernatural strength]. He girded up his loins and outran Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel [nearly twenty miles]." In life, there are people you know and categorically believe they have left you behind; you feel that you have lost a lot of time and cannot catch-up with life. But by the grace and Almighty power of God, He will hasten your feet to outrun them. For instance, in terms of family where the ungodly had gone ahead of you and were having one child at a time, God will give you twins or triplets at once. If its work, He will give you more than one business idea, multiply your establishment and in a short while you will be a head of them. God will give you a job that...

HAVE FAITH LIKE A CHILD Pr. James Victor Lubwama  Matthew 18:3 (AMP)  “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you repent [that is, change your inner self—your old way of thinking, live changed lives] and become like children [trusting, humble, and forgiving], you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Children by nature never question authority - they are receptive, teachable, trusting and obedient; they possess qualities and values that are vital to life in Christ and thus the need to learn from them. They take every word and promise given to them as gospel truth; they are very quick to believe; they have complete trust in their parents and they never worry about anything because they are sure that their parents will ably provide.  Children never worry about food, school fees, clothing or any basic need because they trust and count on thei...
