ACCORDING TO THE POWER WITHIN US Pr. James Victor Lubwama Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV) “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” God will be able to work for you according to the word (scriptures) stored in your heart and the revelation you have. The spiritual power you have as a Christian is directly proportional to the word of God stored in your heart. There is a difference between information, memorizing and revelation. Most scholars are informed but they lack the revelation. Revelation is from the Holy Spirit and comes with a deeper understanding of scriptures - one can apply the Word of God to situations depending on what one has stored in his or her heart overtime. So you can't use what you have not stored! The devil has blinded us, by taking the word and leaving us with the letter which has no life. We move with bibles, we put them under our pillows at night but the wor...

IF ONLY YOU CAN BELIEVE Pr. James Victor Lubwama John 11:40-42 (AMP) 'Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God [the expression of His excellence]? 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”  To believe is to have confidence in the truth, or the reliability of something although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so. Its only when one believes in something that he or can act purposefully.  When you believe, you accept and with faith expect that whatever you have been told will come to pass. You then change your confession and speak like Mary did in Luke 1:38 (NKJV): "Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to ...

THE ANOINTING (II) Pr. James Victor Lubwama John 1:41 (AMPC) "We have found (discovered) the Messiah!—which translated is the Christ (the Anointed One)." The anointing is the bringing to bear of God's presence and power upon earthly life in its numerous expressions and applications.  In our Christian setting, we are often puzzled about the concept of the "Anointing". We usually associate it with places and ministers, but the anointing is not limited to places or ministers. God anoints His servants for specific purposes, and we can tap into that covenanted anointing. I f you desire the anointing, you need to seek the bearer of the anointing - the Messiah ; for it is He who anoints. The bible says in John 1:40-41 (AMPC) that; "One of the two who heard what John said and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. 41 He first sought out and found his own brother Simon and said to him, We have found (discovered) the Messiah!—which tran...

THE ANOINTING  (I) Pr. James Victor Lubwama Luke 4:18 (AMP) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me (the Messiah),  Because He has anointed Me to preach  the good news to the poor.  He has sent Me to announce release  (pardon, forgiveness) to the c aptives,  And recovery of sight to the blind,  To set free those who are oppressed  (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy)." The Holy Spirit is the one who anoints men for His work ; and when the Holy Spirit anoints you, it's for a specific purpose and for a designated  time frame . He anointed Jesus for a specific mission at a specific time as seen in the scripture above.   The Holy Spirit dwells in us, and there are signs that can show whether the Holy Spirit is within you: 1. There is conviction of sin  Conviction is that urge that makes you lose your peace and drives you to repentance. Without the Holy Spirit there is no conviction of sin, and when one...

SPEAK THE LANGUAGE OF GOD Pr. James Victor Lubwama The language of God is what He says about you in His word; It is the prophesy or Rhema Word that He sends to you - it is the mindset of God about you. Rhema  means  ‘an utterance’ or ‘thing said’   It  is a word that the Holy Spirit brings to your attention with application to a current situation or need for direction. In most cases, a Rhema word received by; prophesy or reading the Bible applies to a current situation or need. In essence, it is timely and extremely valuable in a Christian's walk with God. In John 6:63 (ESV), Jesus confirmed this point when he said;  "The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. ”   When you are praying, instead of crying and complaining, quote the word of God (Rhema Word); for it has the power to transform your life or the afflicting situations. But sometimes we pray amiss because we don't know the scriptures, however, Go...
