SPIRITUAL CIRCUMFERENCE Pr. James Victor Lubwama The church attracts many believers from all walks of life; however, not everyone who comes to our church is pastored by me (spiritual children). Some come to the ministry because of the calling and anointing upon the pastor like the miracle working power. There are two categories of people in church;  1. The ones that I pastor (spiritual children) 2. The ones that i pray for (followers) The distinction is created by the people themselves; by how they relate with me as a pastor, their ability to imitate me as i imitate Christ and by following my instructions. Paul tells the Christians in 1 Corinthians 4:15-16 (NLT) that;  "For I became your father in Christ Jesus when I preached the Good News to you. 16 So I urge you to imitate me." And in 1 Corinthians 11:1 (NLT) he says; "And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ." You can be able to tell the difference between the people I pastor a

DO NOT FEAR THEIR gods Pr. James Victor Lubwama Judges 6:8-10 (NKJV) “That the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of bondage; 9 and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land. 10 Also I said to you, “I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” The story of Gideon, in the book of Judges, is about God, and how he operates in the lives of his children. God’s interactions with Gideon are gentle, loving, patient, and gracious. God is full of mercy and justice, fully loving toward his people and wrathful toward their enemies If God brought you out of Egypt, and took you to a land you knew not, He will also protect and sustain you as well. The Lord of Salvation who delivered you out of Egypt from the

THE FOUR  (4)  WEAPONS FOR A CHRISTIAN Pr. James Victor Lubwama Ordinarily, when we speak about waging war, there are certain things the world would expect to see; for instance if Uganda is to go to war, the commander in chief will open up the armory and get the most suitable weapons to use like; tanks, choppers, guns, bullet proof vests, etc. Just like earthly governments, heaven also has its own armory. Jeremiah 50:25 (NKJV) says; " The Lord has opened His armory, and has brought out the weapons of His indignation;  for this is the work of the Lord God of hosts  in the land of the Chaldeans." As Christians, we do not fight against flesh and blood ( Ephesians 6:12 ) and thus our weapons are not physical (carnal) but spiritual. 2 Corinthians 10:4 (NKJV) says: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds" The 4 weapons of our warfare are; 1.The Word of God. It is His plan

THREE (3) WEAPONS THE DEVIL USES  Pr. James Victor Lubwama  The devil fights us in three ways, that is through; facts of life, words and thoughts that roam through our minds.  1.   Facts  While in the quiet of the day, the devil whispers to you. Who knows you? Where will you find a job in this poorly performing economy?   At this age do you still expect to get married?  He uses facts of life to fight you, and the more you meditate on them, the more they become real, which eventually breeds worry. His aim is to use facts of life and about you to discourage you and kill your hope in the future and faith in God, but be informed that God has a good plan for you; “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV). What you have got to do is to defeat the facts of life using the truth - word of God. You are what God says you about you ( Gal 3:9 , Deut 28:13 , Eph 1:7 , Rom 8:1 ) The opinions of others and facts of life won’
