THERE IS ANOTHER WAY Pr. James Victor Lubwama Esther 4:13-14 (NLT) ‘Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. 14 If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” When you feel that all your wit and efforts have yielded nothing, and you are consumed by fear and disappointment, remember that God has another way for your redemption - for his ways are higher than ours ( Isaiah 55:8-9 ). He who created a way in the red sea that no one knew about is still at work in our lives. ( Isaiah 43:16 ,  Exodus 14:21 ) Your Creator who made the way in the water for the Israelites to escape from captivity and oppression will create a way for you. If Esther cannot go on your behalf, deliverance will come from som...

THE ANOINTING TO OUTRUN THEM Pr. James Victor Lubwama 1 Kings 18:45-46 (AMP)  "In a little while the sky grew dark with clouds and wind, and there were heavy showers. And Ahab mounted and rode [his chariot] and went [inland] to Jezreel. 46 Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah [giving him supernatural strength]. He girded up his loins and outran Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel [nearly twenty miles]." In life, there are people you know and categorically believe they have left you behind; you feel that you have lost a lot of time and cannot catch-up with life. But by the grace and Almighty power of God, He will hasten your feet to outrun them. For instance, in terms of family where the ungodly had gone ahead of you and were having one child at a time, God will give you twins or triplets at once. If its work, He will give you more than one business idea, multiply your establishment and in a short while you will be a head of them. God will give you a job that...

HAVE FAITH LIKE A CHILD Pr. James Victor Lubwama  Matthew 18:3 (AMP)  “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you repent [that is, change your inner self—your old way of thinking, live changed lives] and become like children [trusting, humble, and forgiving], you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Children by nature never question authority - they are receptive, teachable, trusting and obedient; they possess qualities and values that are vital to life in Christ and thus the need to learn from them. They take every word and promise given to them as gospel truth; they are very quick to believe; they have complete trust in their parents and they never worry about anything because they are sure that their parents will ably provide.  Children never worry about food, school fees, clothing or any basic need because they trust and count on thei...

PEACE OF GOD Pr. James Victor Lubwama Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." In the world today, there are certain things that people consider and base on as elements of peace. As such their peace is conditioned on having certain things in life like money, children, cars, houses etc. These things are all important but they are not the epitome of life and peace. Having a relationship with God is better than having material things. The peace that God gives supersedes all these material things and human understanding - its unconditional. You can be happy yet you don't have money or car; you can be content, happy and at peace with the little you have . The peace that matters, the peace that lasts and has stood the test of time, is the peace that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, whom the prophet Isaiah describes as the Prince of Peace ( Isaiah 9:6 ) God ...

ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES Pr. James Victor Lubwama Philippians 4:19 (AMP) "And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."  When God is to work for you, He will not base on your income; He won't consider your job or bank savings, but He will provide for you depending on His heavenly account because the earth and everything in it belong to the Lord - Psalm 24:1. He has infinite ways to provide for your needs - His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are higher than ours ( Isaiah 55:8 ). God is not limited by situations. Each morning He opens His hands for us to claim and pick out our daily needs, so its up to us to know what we need. For God provides for us daily not weekly or monthly, and that is why the bible says: He gives us our daily bread ( Mathew 6:11 ) or as the footnote in the Amplified version expounds as; daily bread =  life's essentials. God meets our needs daily and it...

FAITH vs. FEAR Pr. James Victor Lubwama Faith and fear are two giants that cannot sit in the same place. When one comes in, the other disappears. According to Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) Faith is; "The assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physi cal senses]” The acronym FEAR is unmasked as False Evidence Appearing Real. The image the devil is painting for you is not real; sometimes it's just perceived and not necessarily close to us. Satan uses fear to govern people’s lives while God uses faith. The foundation of faith is the word of God, while the foundation of fear are lies of the world. You can't have faith without the Word . Romans 10:17 (NKJV) affirms; “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Most people impulsively lift their faith but faith is non-existent without ...

ACCORDING TO THE POWER WITHIN US Pr. James Victor Lubwama Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV) “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” God will be able to work for you according to the word (scriptures) stored in your heart and the revelation you have. The spiritual power you have as a Christian is directly proportional to the word of God stored in your heart. There is a difference between information, memorizing and revelation. Most scholars are informed but they lack the revelation. Revelation is from the Holy Spirit and comes with a deeper understanding of scriptures - one can apply the Word of God to situations depending on what one has stored in his or her heart overtime. So you can't use what you have not stored! The devil has blinded us, by taking the word and leaving us with the letter which has no life. We move with bibles, we put them under our pillows at night but the wor...
