ABSOLUTE DEPENDENCE ON THE WORD OF GOD What do you do when amidst a sea of troubles and there's no one to rescue you? You stand still and see the salvation of the Lord - you will never know that God is all you have until God is all you have got. Standing still means standing on the rock which is the word of God - w e should learn to exercise absolute dependence on the word of God; for God can never forsake us if we trust Him wholeheartedly. Psalm 62:6-8 (NKJV) says; “ He only is my rock and my salvation ; H e is my defense; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory ; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in Hi m at all times; you people ; pour out your heart before H im ; God is a refuge for us” Cling on the promises of God and you will see the salvation of the Lord.
