ABSOLUTE DEPENDENCE ON THE WORD OF GOD

What do you do when amidst a sea of troubles and there's no one to rescue you? You stand still and see the salvation of the Lord - you will never know that God is all you have until God is all you have got. Standing still means standing on the rock which is the word of God - we should learn to exercise absolute dependence on the word of God; for God can never forsake us if we trust Him wholeheartedly. Psalm 62:6-8 (NKJV) says;

He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in Him at all times; you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us”

Cling on the promises of God and you will see the salvation of the Lord. Whenever you are faced with terror, let God be your first priority because He is our refuge, strength and a very present help in times of trouble (Psalms 46:1-3).

God has an emergency unit; He is ever ready to intervene in your troubles, worries and needs if you call unto Him. In case of problems at home, work, family and other areas of your life, run to the Lord  because in Him is your salvation and refuge. Strength comes from the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. Judges 15:14 (KJV) says;

And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

Jesus told His disciples that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them (Acts 1:8). Many Christians however follow the written word and do righteous things without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6). And the devil will take advantage of you if you lean on your own understanding or insight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Humble yourself and depend on God; honour and celebrate the anointing and God's servants. In the book of 2 Kings 4, we about the Shunammite woman who honoured Elisha and made for him a room on the roof of her house. And as a result of her actions, a word that ended her barrenness came through Elisha - the anointing that is lifted up and respected flows easily to those below - if a servant of God is doing well in life, then a door will be opened for the flock to excel as well. Be submissive and serve the anointing and then the yoke upon your life will be broken (2 Kings 4:8-17)

If God started what is troubling you, then only He can restore or resurrect it.  When her son died suddenly, the Shunammite woman sought Elisha who initially spoke the existence of this child. Elisha went to Shunammite woman's house, prayed for the boy and he rose (2 Kings 4:18-37) – In both cases the word from the servant of God created and restored; so whenever you encounter problems, face throne-ward and seek God’s intervention first before you make any decision

God bless you so much.
