HEBREW WOMEN

Exodus 1:15-20 (NLT)
"Then Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave this order to the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah: 16 “When you help the Hebrew women as they give birth, watch as they deliver. If the baby is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live.” 17 But because the midwives feared God, they refused to obey the king’s orders. They allowed the boys to live, too. 18 So the king of Egypt called for the midwives. “Why have you done this?” he demanded. “Why have you allowed the boys to live?” 19 “The Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women,” the midwives replied. “They are more vigorous and have their babies so quickly that we cannot get there in time. 20 So God was good to the midwives, and the people [of Israel] multiplied and became very strong"
The death of Christ ushered in the new covenant (Mathew 26:28) under which we are justified by God's grace and mercy; Jesus Himself is the Mediator of this better covenant between God and man (Hebrews 9:15). Because of the new covenant, you have the same spiritual DNA as the Hebrew women - you are vigorous and quick. The bible says in Galatians 3:14 (NLT) that:
"Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles 
with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, 
so that we who are believers might receive 
the promised Holy Spirit through faith."
Your enemies will not kill your venture or anything that you are doing because, for everyone born of God overcomes the world – 1 John 5:4. Just like the way Hebrew women gave birth quickly without any help from the midwives, you won’t need any outside help for your dreams to come to pass; you will get where you need to get to without anybody's help but only God, and by the time they realize it, you will already have had a child.
The child represents that vision or dream you want to achieve. There are people seeing you carry that dream and they are devising ways to kill your child but they won’t succeed because you have the blessing of Abraham. Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) says: "No weapon formed against you shall proper" and Job 5:12-13 (GNT) says: "He upsets the plans of cunning people, and traps the wise in their own schemes, so that nothing they do succeeds."
Our dreams are birthed by God; for He is the author and the finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). They will see you living your dream and they will wonder how you made it without their support. Without the finances of your uncle or sibling or friend, you will make it because God purposed it.
Midwives represent those in power, those who allege that you can’t make it without their support. By the time the midwives show up, you will have given birth to your child; you will be a step ahead of them. Isaiah 66:7-9 says;
“Before the birth pains even begin, Jerusalem gives birth to a son. 8 Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment? But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her children will be born. 9 Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the Lord. “No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God."
The born-again women are not like Egyptian women!

WHAT TO DO WHEN PROBLEMS STRIKE Pr. James Victor Lubwama DAY 2 - REFER TO THE PREVIOUS VICTORIES 2 Chronicles 20:7 (NLT) “O our God, did you not drive out those who lived in this land when your people Israel arrived? And did you not give this land forever to the descendants of your friend Abraham?” When faced with problems, we should always remember the previous victories or testimonies and miracles that were made possible by God because, they give us hope and boast our faith in the Lord knowing that He who did it before will do it again. Are you not the God who gave me a job when I had been jobless for 3 years? Are you not God who healed me when I was sick? Are you not God who built me a house?  Always refer to your previous testimonies or victories that God gave you. Jehoshaphat called upon the mighty God of Israel who drove out inhabitants of Canaan and planted foreigners –  a person who remembers what God did yesterday is the only person who can see what God

THE ANOINTING  (I) Pr. James Victor Lubwama Luke 4:18 (AMP) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me (the Messiah),  Because He has anointed Me to preach  the good news to the poor.  He has sent Me to announce release  (pardon, forgiveness) to the c aptives,  And recovery of sight to the blind,  To set free those who are oppressed  (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy)." The Holy Spirit is the one who anoints men for His work ; and when the Holy Spirit anoints you, it's for a specific purpose and for a designated  time frame . He anointed Jesus for a specific mission at a specific time as seen in the scripture above.   The Holy Spirit dwells in us, and there are signs that can show whether the Holy Spirit is within you: 1. There is conviction of sin  Conviction is that urge that makes you lose your peace and drives you to repentance. PRAY IN THE SPIRIT Pr. James Victor Lubwama Prayer is an appeal of the things you need from the Lord; its dialogue between man and God; it's a way to realise the will of God ( Psalm 25:4 ), and learning how to pray ( Mathew 6:9-15 ) strengthens your relationship with God. Authentic prayer is communication between your heart and God Praying in the spirit and not in one's understanding (carnal state) does not mean that you will not understand what you are saying, but implies that you will pray in unity with the Holy spirit - for your mind and heart will completely be focused on God. Be aware that  God is a  S pirit. John 4:24 (AMP) says;  "God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality)" Human beings are both flesh and spirit. Some come to the ministry because of the calling and anointing upon the pastor like the miracle working power. There are two categories of people in church;  1. PLAY YOUR PART Pr. EFFECTIVE AND FERVENT PRAYER Pr. James Victor Lubwama James 5:16 (NKJV) ''Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." We have prayed alot but our prayers have yielded nothing. This is because when we talk to the Father, we present ourselves in a carnal state. So, how do you pray effectively? 1. Purify your heart and mind Close off yourself from worrisome and stressing issues such as lack, disappointment or any other kind of diversion that is causing a frantic mood, and primarily focus on the most High God. JESUS - OUR PERFECT STANDARD Luke 2:52 (ESV) "And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man" Having a human body, Jesus was born, he grew, he thirsted, he hungered, he wept, he slept, he sweated, he bled, and he died. FIGHTING A GOOD FIGHT Pr. James Victor Lubwama Day 1 - WE ARE BORN FIGHTERS 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NKJV) “ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” We are all born fighters - y ou must be a warrior in order to get what you desire!
